Hertie Introductory Neuroscience Courses

General information

These one day introductory courses will give a broad overview on topics in neuroscience for which the Berlin neuroscience community has a proven expertise. They aim at young scientists who want to learn more about these areas of research but also senior scientists or clinicians who want to get familiar with others than their own fields of research are welcome.

 

The courses will place the day before the Forum, i.e. on Friday July 6, 2018 at the place of the organizers, i.e. NOT in the City Cube. Therefore the maximum capacity of the courses differ.

Supplementary registration is required for these courses. Online registration was possible during the registration procedure for the FENS Forum until June 20, 2018. The registration fee amounts 10 € for students and 30 € for postdocs and senior scientists. The registration fee includes coffee breaks and a light lunch.

Onsite registration at the start of the course is still possilbe except for Course No. 1.

7. PSYCHIATRIC DISEASES
„Everything you always wanted to know about psychiatric diseases: computational and dimensional approaches in biological psychiatry“

8. SYNAPTIC TRANSMISSION
„Everything you always wanted to know about synaptic transmission: Introduction to synaptic transmission at the central synapse”
